Itamar Sivan
Itamar Sivan is co-founder and CEO of Quantum Machines, a Tel Aviv company building the hardware and software infrastructure for quantum computers. He founded the company in 2018 with fellow Weizmann Institute physicists Yonatan Cohen and Nissim Ofek. His doctoral research in Moty Heiblum's condensed matter physics lab focused on interference in quantum devices. He also co-founded the Weizmann Institute Students Entrepreneurship Club, bringing together his interests in physics and building companies. At Quantum Machines, that combination led to a focus on the classical control systems needed to run quantum processors, rather than developing another qubit technology.
