As a follow up to his post, TechAviv’s @EzraButler interviewed a green frog and the new “Dana International” of Israeli hi-tech, Amir Wald. Amir is the founder of one-man-startup Colnect, the surprise winner of Europe’s 2009 Startup 2.0 competition. All kidding aside, this is a remarkable achievement for a guy working out of his apartment in Petach Tikva. You made us proud Amir. Sachten. Keep pushing.
Founders take note – Internationalization from day one is a major strength for web communities.

Thanks Ezra and thanks Yaron for the interview!
Although the interview is light and hopefully entertaining (as I prefer not to bore people with details since they can do that perfectly well themselves), Colnect is a very serious project that has been making many collectors from around the globe very happy. Over a hundred volunteers help out to make Colnect what it is and so although Frognector takes the credit in this interview, these people are the ones who deserve it.
